Troops give assistance to local people in Muong Nhe District
PANO - The living standards of people in Muong Nhe District, Dien Bien Province have been improved considerably thanks to the assistance of hundreds of officers and soldiers from Regiment 82, Military Zone 2.
The troops have dredged thousands of meters of irrigation canal, clean the environment and upgraded schools’ conditions and facilities. Besides, they have provided local people with knowledge about cultivation, doing farming and taking care of their health.
Mr. Thao A Cua, a Mong ethnic person from Nam Vi Commune confided that H’Mong ethnic minority group is good one. However, some had been incited by bad people to call for the formation of an own kingdom of H’Mong people, causing disorder and insecurity in the locality. Thanks to troops and local authorities’ explanation and advices, they realise their mistakes and resumed contributing to building a peaceful life in the Northeastern region of Vietnam.
